the mercantile is at rest.

The harvest has concluded, and the treasures of the last collection have found their new homes.

When the shop is quiet, it means I have returned to the Wool Shed & Apothecary to begin the slow work of the next moon. Right now, the dye pots are simmering with botanical colors, the spinning wheel is a-whir, and new guardians are being needle-felted from the locks of the Pygora Seven.

Creating one-of-a-kind artifacts takes time, patience, and the right turn of the seasons. I work in small, intentional batches to ensure every piece carries the true spirit of the Wildfarm.

While the gates are latched:

Sylvia & Friend: A Traveler’s Tale

Sylvia & Her Companion: A Traveler’s Tale

The Vision

Not all who wander are lost, and Sylvia is never truly alone. An eclectic soul with hair the color of a twilight sky, she travels the hidden paths of the world wrapped in a heavy wool cloak. By her side—is her steadfast friend, a rat of great size and even greater wisdom. This kit invites you to conjure this pair of seasoned wanderers.

The Experience

Sculpting Sylvia is an exercise in character and whimsy. From her storied blue hair to the drape of her traveling cloak, you will use the "slow ways" to build a figure that feels like she has stepped out of a forgotten legend. It is a kit for the maker who loves a story as much as a stitch.

Inside the Satchel

  • The Spirit: Hand-prepped Wildfarm wool for Sylvia’s form and her twilight-hued hair.

  • The Traveling Cloak: A selection of heritage wool to wrap her against the Puget Sound mist.

  • The Familiar: Earth-toned fibers to sculpt her oversized, loyal companion.

  • The Lore: Step-by-step guidance to bringing this eccentric pair into the material world.

Named for Mwsogl (our moss-loving 'Moose'), this is our quiet post for those who love artful fiber and folk herbals. Sign up to know exactly when the next batch of wild-crafted & wild-spun treasures is ready to leave the studio.
