Accessibility Statement

Our Commitment to the Path

At The Mossy Spindle, we believe every guest should be able to wander through our digital hills with ease. We are committed to ensuring digital accessibility for all, continually tending to our website to ensure the "slow ways" are accessible to everyone.

Our Standards

We strive to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA standards. These guidelines help us make our farmhouse stories and wares accessible to friends with a wide range of visual, auditory, physical, and cognitive needs.

How We Tend the Site
To ensure a seamless journey through the farmstead, we have implemented the following:

  • The Sight of Words (Alt Text): All images of our herd and wares include descriptive alternative text for screen readers.

  • Stepping Through (Keyboard Navigation): Our Mercantile and checkout process are designed to be fully navigable using only a keyboard.

  • Clarity & Light (Contrast): We use high-contrast palettes and legible fonts—like our heritage Adobe Caslon—to ensure the story is easy to read.

  • Clear Signposts (Form Labels): All checkout and contact forms include clear labels to guide you home.

Send Tidings
We welcome your feedback. If you encounter a barrier on our path or have suggestions on how we can improve the experience, please let us know:

  • Email: Valerie@TheMossySpindle.com

  • Response Time: Like the seasons, we move with care. We try to respond to all tidings within 2 business days.
