THE CURIO COTTAGE

IMG_3810.jpeg

A Note to Travelers:
The shelves are completely bare, and the big cedar table is quiet for the first time in weeks. Every hand-crafted kit and homestead treasure has gone out to a new home. When the cottage is this quiet, it means work has shifted away from the desk. Days are currently spent foraging in the deep woods—gathering fresh spring moss, collecting new ideas, and harvesting spring blooms before the season passe

The Curio Cottage

Welcome to the common room of the homestead, where travelers gather unique treasures and miscellaneous supplies for their journey. This space holds the oddities and specialized creations that cannot be found in the apothecary or the wool spindle shed.

Shelves of the Common Room

The cottage shelves hold a changing collection of finished goods, small-batch craft kits, and unusual items gathered from the homestead grounds. Every piece is crafted slowly, using whatever materials inspiration brings to the big cedar table.

While the Work is Finishing Up:
  • THE SPINDLE SHED: Where a fresh skein of hand-dyed wool may be drying by the hearth.

  • THE BOTANICAL STILLROOM: Browse the quiet folk apothecary for herbal blends, salves, and forest mists.

  • THE MWSOGL CHRONICLES: Pull up a chair and read the latest journal entries about farm life, the herd, and the history behind the farm's favorite finds.

The big cedar table is resting for now. Use the PARCHMENT MAP to find your way around.

Named for Mwsogl (our moss-loving 'Moose'), this is our quiet post for those who love artful fiber and folk herbals. Sign up to know exactly when the next batch of wild-crafted & wild-spun treasures is ready to leave the studio.
